Rationale
Why This Tool Exists
"Did I practice enough this week?" usually gets answered with a vague feeling — memory tends to
over- or under-estimate practice time. Practice Log turns that feeling into concrete numbers: total time,
record count, and BPM progress are visible at a glance. That lets you evaluate your consistency
objectively and see your real progress over time, backed by evidence.
FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Does keeping a practice log actually make a difference?
Yes. Students who track their progress stay motivated longer. Concrete numbers are
far stronger feedback than a vague feeling of "I'm practicing."
Should I use the automatic session or manual entry?
If you're practicing at your computer or phone, the automatic session tracks time
exactly. If you're in a separate room, manual entry is more practical.
Which devices can see my records?
Only the device and browser you created them on. Since data isn't sent to a
server, records won't appear when viewed from a different device.
How should I use the BPM (start) and BPM (end) fields?
If you practiced at a fixed tempo, fill in only the start field. If you did speed
training, enter the starting and reached target tempo separately.
