Right after correctly identifying an interval in Ear Training, play or sing that same interval on
your instrument. This strengthens the link between the sound and the physical motion (a fret on
guitar, a key on piano), and builds far more lasting learning than just marking a correct answer on
screen.
When practicing improvisation, try the "hear it, then play it" habit: identify the note you're about
to play in your head or voice first, then find it on your instrument. It slows you down at first, but
over time it closes the gap between your ear and your fingers.
When adding this to your daily routine, mind the order: place ear training right after warm-up, but
before technical work — your ear is sharpest before it gets tired. For routine planning, see the
Weekly Practice Routine guide.
